Have you ever tried thati thandra? I tried only a couple of times growing up but never forgot the taste of it. I suppose, you either love it or dislike it thoroughly.
Have you ever tried thati thandra? I tried only a couple of times growing up but never forgot the taste of it. I suppose, you either love it or dislike it thoroughly. I personally longed for it for years until we started making it at Vibrant Living. It is intense in flavour, sweet and slightly bitter at the same time. A must try for any foodie, I think. The cleanest and the purest palmyra palm fruit ‘leather’ is made only with the fresh pulp of the ripe fruit.
When you crave for something sweet, reach out for such snacks like dried fruit (I don’t mean nuts, though they too make good snacks if they are soaked) that are loaded with vitamins, minerals and antioxidants.
Oh, don’t forget to try and make thati muffins. Recipe is up on our YouTube channel.
Did you know Palmyra palm is the tallest palm in the world? I can just go on and on about this tree where every part of it at every stage is used beautifully in different parts of world where it is grown. Hope we stop cutting them and start growing new babies too.
