Blue pea flower has been used for therapeutic purposes for centuries. But only recently we started seeing health enthusiasts and gourmet cooks around the world use it. In India, this plant grows wild and the flowers are used to decorate Hindu deities. This flower is considered one of lord Shiva’s favourite.

• Bring 1 cup of water to boil and turn off the flame.
• Add the blue pea flowers and let it steep for 5 minutes.
• Strain the concoction into a cup.
• Add few drops of lemon juice and see the magic of colour-changing.
• Now add a teaspoon of honey and mix it well.
• Enjoy the blue pea flower tea warm or cold

If you prefer, you can avoid adding the lemon juice and enjoy the tea in its original colour and taste.
